Omniglot - a guide to written language showcases alphabets from languages around the world--some of which are stunningly beautiful. I've been doing a lot of handwriting in my journal lately, and I wish my chicken scratches looked half as good (and legible) as the letters, hieroglyphs, kanji and runes displayed on this site.
